Another Evening at the Hospital

This hospital had a great ending though. Last night I was having really strong contractions. I felt that we should go to the hospital, but didn't want to go if nothing was happening. Ben had some things to do and I just let him do while I timed my contractions. Well Ben had to come home early from a study group and we went to the hospital. I was so upset on the way there because I didn't want to get sent home again and I didn't want to have nothing change. Well when we got there the nurse checked me and I was dilated to a 2 and 80% effaced. That had changed since the day before. This nurse had been sent home 3 times with her first child and she understood. She did everything that she could to help me out. So when she check me she tried to irritate the amniotic sac. The nurse told me that she was going to check me in an hour. Ben and I watched Without a Trace and I kept having contractions. When she came back she checked me again. I was almost dilated to a 3 and I was still 80%. Well that was a big change, but not big enough to admit me. My big contractions were only 5-7 minutes apart and that was not enough to be in active labor. Another thing that sent me home was my cervix was still pretty far back and the baby is not putting enough pressure on my cervix. Braeden just needs to come down a little bit more and we will be going in. My contractions have been closer, and more intense this morning. I hope that we have a baby today. It is getting so much closer and I am so excited to have my baby here. Hopefully I had a lot of contractions last night while I was sleeping and I am ready to have a baby. What an experience...wow!
