Winter Weather and a Fun Tag

I had heard on the news that it was going to be cold this weekend. Well I didn't know just how cold. It snowed just a little bit here in Provo today. It was freezing, but it made for a good day to watch BYU football, and scrapbook a little. I wanted Ben to stay home from work with me and snuggle all day and watch movies and drink hot chocolate, but that didn't happen. It is okay though. Winter is on it's way...ready or not! It is getting harder to walk around even that apartment to make some food. I waddle and everything hurts, so I hope that Braeden makes his grand entrance soon. I can't wait to hold that little boy in my arms and teach him the gospel, and how to be a great person!

Thanks Dev for the fun tag. They are questions that are not normally asked, but so fun to think about.

1. If every job paid $50,000 a year, and you had no physical or mental limitations, what would you do? Interior Designer

2. What is your current church calling? What do you like about it? What have some of your other callings been? Right now our calling is Gospel Doctrine Teachers in our married student ward. Ben is doing really well teaching by himself because I have to stay home and rest. So I thank him.

3. Name a person you regularly encounter (outside your family) who brightens your day. The people in our ward are so great. I love them!

4. In twenty years, what do you think you will miss most about your life now? The part where we have no money, and we are struggling so much, but we are loving life and we are becoming so strong. It is the hard times that make you stronger and appreciate life more.

5. What’s something you appreciate about your spouse? Ben makes me laugh all the time and he is so silly at times. He is really good right now at keeping the house clean and trying to understand what I am going through. He is such a sweet man and he works full time and is going to school full time, and still makes time to spend with me. I love you Ben!

6. What is your favorite routine, household chore? I love to make changes in the decor of our apartment. That is always so much fun!

7. What’s a book you return to occasionally (besides the scriptures)? I don't read a lot, but I have loved the Twilight books.

8.Favorite Small Pleasure: hot baths with candles and a Diet Dr Pepper

9. Favorite time of the day? When I get to spend time with Ben in the morning when we wake up at the same time (if that happens) and then at night when we go to bed.

10. Name a person who performed what they thought was a small act of service, but ended up being a big deal to you: When my parents drove up here to see my after I was put on bed rest the second time. They thought is was just a little drive, but when they showed up at the door they were angels.

11. Name someone who somehow changed your life: My soon-to-be-born son Braeden. He has already changed my life and made me realize just how precious life really is and that it is a miracle. And of course Ben because he is so amazing.

12. Consider what you do each day. Think of one attribute or trait that you bring to your daily work that is a strength—what is something you do really well? Well right now it is hard to do a lot of things so I would say that it is having the determination to make it to the end of this pregnancy. We have almost made it past the pre-term labor stage. That is a HUGE accomplishment for me. It has been really hard.
