On Sunday it was mine and Ben's First Anniversary. We celebrated on Saturday so that we could actually go out and do something. Ben had to work on Saturday morning so when he came home he brought me a gift. It was very special. There was the movie and soundtrack to August Rush. There is special meaning behind that so it meant a lot. He also got some popcorn and fruit snacks and put them all cute in a basket. Then he wanted to take me up to Temple Square in Salt Lake to see the Christmas lights. We went up there and it was so fun, busy but fun. There were a lot of people there. We took some fun pictures and went home to have some ice cream and make some fudge. It was a great day and great way to celebrate our first year together...and the best present was our new little baby. He is so much fun and we couldn't be more blessed. Then yesterday on our real anniversary we made dinner and had some Martinelli's Sparkling Cider...man I love that stuff if you didn't have to pay so much for so little. It was a romantic evening ending with Ben asleep on the couch and me watching Home Alone 4 while feeding the baby...welcome to celebrating old married people with a child style. We love it though. Then we went to bed at 10. It was a great weekend.
