A Week From...You Know Where

Braeden has been sick since last Friday(so it has been a week now and he is not better), I got sick on Wednesday ( and I am still sick), and on Wednesday Ben went jogging without telling me and it ended badly. He was jogging and he twisted his ankle. He thought that he had broken it because he couldn't walk on it. He had to hitch hike home, and he couldn't get up the stairs to tell me that he needed to go to the ER. Well I was on NyQuil and the humidifier was on full blast so I was out and couldn't hear that he was calling my name from downstairs for ten minutes. Finally he crawled upstairs and told me that we needed to go to the Urgent Care. So I got up and we went. His ankle was HUGE HUGE HUGE. It was gross to be honest. There will be pictures in a little while. The clinic took x-rays and they weren't sure what had happened. So they splinted it and he has to be on crutches. It was a nightmare. Then later that day we had to go onto campus for Ben to print some stuff. While we were in the library, Ben got an email that said the couldn't go to clinicals on crutches. Well if he misses clinicals it is $300 a day. And then they told him that he gets an Incomplete on the course he is taking until he makes up the hours he misses. Ben had to go talk to the Dean of the nursing school to fix things. I think that Ben has it all sorted out now. Prayers were answered there.

It has been nuts around here and now I have to drive Ben everywhere. I hope Ben heals quickly and we can get over this cold. It will all be okay in the end, but right now things are insane and my house needs cleaned. You know how it gets when you're sick.

On the other hand, it is warm outside. This week in Denver is supposed to be in the 80's all week. That will be so nice to go outside, and let Braeden crawl around on the grass. I hope you all are healthy and enjoying spring. We love and miss you all lots!
