Anniversary Dinner

Our 2nd anniversary is Monday, November 30, but with the holidays we decided to celebrate a little early. We got ready Wednesday and went to Outback Steakhouse. We just received a $50 gift card with our credit card rewards. It was such a great dinner. I had a chicken shrimp plate and Ben had some steak...(or course). Then I had 2 baked sweet potatoes. Those are my most favorite ever. I could have eaten 5 of them. Then we had a free bloomin' onion, and our waiter gave us a free dessert because it was our anniversary. It was a great night. We did have Braeden, but it was still fun. Maybe someday we will get to go on a night by ourselves. Then after dinner we went to Target and got ice cream bars for our 2nd dessert. They were yummy. Then we got Braeden to sleep and watched Star Trek. I would NOT recommend that movie. Anyways...it was fun to have a nice dinner cooked by someone else, and to be out of the house.

The lights here in Denver are really pretty. They have all of their Christmas stuff everywhere and it is so much fun! We are going to be moving in 2 weeks back to Utah so that I can be near my parents when Ben is gone to Air Force training for 4 months. We are excited to be moving forward and onward with our lives. We should be finding out any day where we will be stationed next August with the Air Force. The waiting is killing me and BEN, but it will come soon enough.

For our anniversary Ben got me a necklace that I am going to wear while he is gone that has special meaning between us two that we both picked out, some flowers that are red and yellow, and a box of chocolates. What a sweet husband. He knows how to re-win my heart. This year we are tight on money so we decided to have something simple and really special and unique. Ben likes to write his journal entries on the internet, so I made him a cute binder with sheet protectors inside so that he can print of his entries and put them in a book. It turned out way cute and he really liked it.

Ben, I love you so much and I am so grateful for all that you do for me and our family. Braeden loves you so much too. Thanks for being a special person to us, and we just love you. We will miss you when you are gone, but we know that you are serving our country and doing what you need to. We are praying for you and thinking of you. Thank you for all the help that you are to me and how dedicated you are to helping our family become stable and happy. We love you and I love you with all of my heart.

Ben loves that bloomin' onion.

Sorry the lighting on this family picture is horrible...thanks to the waiter, and the restaurant lighting.
