Christmas 2009

Things have been super crazy since we moved here. With moving and Christmas, and getting ready to be in school full time, and everything else blogging has been the last thing on my mind. Today I needed to get my posts done from Christmas. I don't want to get too far behind. Christmas Eve we had the usual traditions like opening pj's and going to bed early. One night last week we built some snowmen because of the massive amounts of snow we have here. It was so fun to be outside and be with all my family. On Christmas Day Ben and I woke up at 5 to open our presents. Then after we were done we woke Braeden up. He was so tired, but I was so excited for him. I got a new sewing machine, and a tool kit both I needed so badly. Ben got a little of everything like some tools, clothes, gloves, etc. Braeden on the other hand got tons of fun stuff. He got a stuffed BOLT dog, and a Super Why! figurine, with some new Sunday shoes, and a BOLT pillowcase and 4 BOLT shirts. He also got some other clothes, binkies, and tons of fun stuff. He was so happy and when he opened his BOLT he freaked. He also love love loved his Super Why! doll. It made my day to watch him open his stuff. After our Christmas we went to my parents house. We had Christmas there, and the girls got a lot of fun stuff. Ben got a new knife, and I got a jacket and a BYU shirt. Braeden got a phone, a new blue robe, and a blue coat. He also got a shirt from his aunt Kim. After a little while there, we went to my grandpa and grandma's house. There Braed got one of those little walk and ride toys. He has played with that so much. The rest of the day we just ate and rode sleds pulled by my aunt and uncles snowmobile. It was so great for the kids. After a while we all went home and relaxed. It was nice to have a place to go home to to rest and just watch a movie.
