Yesterday Ben was able to swear into the Air Force. I thought it was going to be a more formal thing, but all we had to do was go the a Notary public and Ben read his oath and she signed some papers and we were done. It was easy. That is the way things should be done. No fuss involved. After wards, we all went to McDonalds. Braeden had his first Kids Meal and he loved every minute of eating his food. I am so proud of Ben for making these sacrifices for our family. He is now a Lieutenant in the Air Force. This summer he will be gone for four months for training. We are going to miss him so much. We love him and we will think of him all the time. Thanks Ben for all you do. We are so proud of you.

This is Braeden while Ben was swearing in...causing mischief!!

Oh my Gosh, I just talked with Ben yesterday and totally forgot all the formalities. I mean yeah I forgot the "Yes Sir, No Sir" stuff but how do you salute over the phone? jk, It should be known I'm partially jealous of you Ben, I've always had that bug for the military (uniforms are awesome). As a tax paying American citizen I want you to know I'm proud of everything your doing for our country. I guess I need to go out and get one of those "support our troops" ribbons now.
Congrats Ben, don't forget to stay in touch, maybe we'll see each other on a deployment someday.
