Oldroyd Family Reunion 2010

On the Wednesday before the weekend reunion Braeden and I packed up and left for Utah. We had a long drive, but Braeden was so good. The only thing that makes it really long for me is that I have no one to talk to. So after a long day, we made it home. The little girls were surprised and they were so happy to see Braeden. After my mom got home from work, we went over to my grandparents to announce the new baby. Braeden had his shirt on and we didn't know how long it would take them to read it. So after a little bit my mom told them to look at Braeden's shirt. So she read it and said, "really?" Then grandpa said, "What?" He read it and they were both so excited. And then I cried. Friday was just get ready day. Everyone waited for the other family members to get there and set up camp. Braeden and I had a tent, and slept wonderfully every night. Friday night we watched a movie with a big screen projector on the back lawn and it was a blast. The next morning Uncle Brent showed up with his family to cook breakfast. Yummy... when they cook. That day we quilted, played minute to win it, and just sat around and visited, laughed and have a BLAST!! I got to see Houston and Meg (they are due in Jan with a new baby boy), Jeff, Whitney, and lots of other family that I love to see. Braeden loved playing and just ran wild. Sunday we got up and went to church. After church was lunch time and time for more games. Later that evening the family had a program for my cousin Whitney. Each year they do a special program for each person who graduates. We each write a letter to that person and spotlight them. It is very special and everyone loves it. I am so grateful that I was able to go this year. I have not missed a year yet. These reunions hold a special place in my heart. Thank you to aunt Kathleen for working so very hard on these every year. I know it is stressful, but they always turn out wonderfully. So thank you and to everyone else who works so hard to help and be there to make an enjoyable time.

P.S. I am not held accountable for ANY of these pictures for safety reason on my life :)
