I have decided to do some crafts and update my house to keep my mind off of things lately. I have not spent that much and done some really cute things in my house. I will post pictures, but there are not really any before and afters...so just go with the afters and believe me things have improved. We love our new updates and they will continue until I feel that we are done :)

One of those things that everyone has somewhere...I painted it black and used it as a coat hanger in Braeden's room.  I found it at the thrift store for .50 cents.

This shelf I found at the thrift store as well for $2.00 I found some black paint and painted it black.  Then I cut out some paper and used mod podge to keep it on the shelf. 

I think it turned out pretty cute.

Kitchen curtains and coordinating table runner

Living room curtains that are made from a fabric shower curtain...cut in half and finished on the cut sides.

Our new bedroom.  The curtains are done the same way as the living room.

The wall decor is made from 12X12 cork board that are painted brown.  The flowers are made from fabric.  I got the idea from a blog that I follow and I will put that up when I can find it :/
