St. Patrick's Day Dinner

Braeden and I cooked all day on St. Patrick's Day.  It was always a tradition at my house to have a green dinner while growing up.  I knew my mom was going to do something fun so I called her.  I did copy her ideas, but that is okay. My mom and I talked all day on and off for help and to help her.  It was such a fun, yet tiring day.  Braeden and I made 10 layer rainbow jello, green wheat rolls, shepherds' pie with green potatoes, a sheet cake with green frosting and green sprinkles.  It may not sound like a lot, but it was.  I was tired that night after no nap and about 8 hours straight of cooking.  It was crazy and my back cannot handle that again while pregnant.  At the end of the day when Ben came home to a delicious dinner, everything was worth the pain and tiredness.  I don't know where that energy came from, but I am so glad it came.  Ben enjoyed it and so did I.
