Sunday...Was a Special Day
Sunday morning came too early. I knew I had to go talk to the Bishop about him releasing me. I was not looking forward to that. Our church is now at 1pm so I prepared an easy singing time knowing I was not going to be able to do much. Ben was staying home with Emerson because he has croup so I knew I wouldn't have his help either. It was just Braeden and I. We had a calm morning and we even got to make french toast. I didn't really have a headache that morning, just a mild ache. Braeden and I left for church and I prayed all the way there that I would know what to say. We got to church and saw the bishop. He called me into his office. We started with a word of prayer. I was thankful for that. It starts things on the right foot. He asked what I needed to talk about and I told him I was sick. That I needed to be released from my calling because it was too much for me. I told him that I felt terrible about it, but it was all I could handle right now. He told me that it would be taken care of and that I would be released next week. He asked me if I needed some one for that day. I told him I would be okay and that I had something small planned. He asked me if the missionaries could do it for me because the day before they told him they wanted to serve within the ward more. After out meeting, we talked with the missionaries and they said that they would love to take over singing time. I was so grateful. When I walked into Primary there was no piano player. Well, no worries because one of the missionaries is a piano player. The other, a chorister. I helped a little bit with singing time in junior primary because it is insane and loud and there are crying children everywhere, but after that...they were on their own. They did awesome and it helped me out so much! They are doing it again next week too. The primary president told them they could do whatever they wanted to do. They seemed pretty excited. I am so thankful for them and their willingness to serve not only for me, but for our church. They are wonderful, fresh missionaries. One has been out 14 days, the other 3 months. What sweet young boys they are. I am thankful for my ward and for all those who are willing to help me out in my time of need. I am so grateful...
