Tyra Banks Show

Recently I have gotten into the Tyra Show. I have watched a few shows the past week and she is so empowering to women. Last week there was one on the teen pregnancy epidemic. Those girls on that show were 13 and 4 months pregnant, 14 and 6 months pregnant with the 2nd child, and you get my point. They are crazy. I cried through the whole show because I tore my heart out. I feel so bad for their babies and I have a hard time feeling sorry for these young girls, but they lose all their childhood and their high school years. Yes...high school is not fun for anyone, but that is where you grow and show a lot of what you are made of. These young 14 years old that have no clue how hard the world is let alone having a baby, but they are trying to find a man who will get them pregnant. Oh doesn't is just break your heart? Okay, I am 20 years old and sometimes I want to go crazy because being a mom is not easy. This person who depends all on me, and doesn't know any better than to cry sometimes. These girls who are children themselves are having babies. Wow! What is our world coming to? I just can't think about it. Tyra told them that they were immature and to knock off the craziness.

On today's show, she was talking to black women who bleach themselves to make their skin lighter to be more accepted. This one women even bleaches her 8, 6, and 4 year old boys. How shocking is that? I could not believe it. She was dumbfounded that anyone would do that. She told them to be proud of who they are.

I am not a fan of Tyra's America's Next Top Model, but I do like her show. She is just a great inspiring lady.
