Memorial Day Celebrations

This morning Ben, Braeden and I got up really early to go to our ward's Memorial Day activities. The first thing was a 5K race that Ben was going to run in until he hurt his ankle. So we were the Finish Line people and we gave the final four their medals. After that they had a flag ceremony and a delicious breakfast. We had eggs, pancakes(whole wheat...yummy), and sausage. It was fun to be out and visit with people in our ward that we normally see at church, but just talk calling or just to say hello. It was a chilly morning, but it was so much fun! The sun came out and we just sat there and enjoyed company. Braeden was so happy and he loved seeing other little kids running around. After it was over Ben and Braeden took a nap while I watched a Hallmark movie. It was silly, but nice to have a second to myself...if you know what I mean!!!
