Spring Break to Utah!!

Ben, Braeden and I left at 12:30 am on Saturday. We drove through the night and finally made it to Logan after driving in a blizzard the whole time at 10:55 p.m. We were supposed to be to a wedding sealing in the Logan temple at 11 am. Well that was a close one. Ben rushed into the temple to get changed while I drove to see a couple of my old roomies from Snow. It was great to see them. After that we went out to eat with some family friends. It was so good to see them all again. Then we made our way to Provo Canyon. It was a good three hour drive. By then we were tired and ornery. Braeden had had it and we still had to make it through the reception and drive two more hours to my house in Glenwood. We finally made it Glenwood at 10 pm. It was a great time seeing friends, but we were so tired. When we got to my house all the kids came rushing out to see us. We got in the house and took all of Braeden's clothes off and he went crazy. He was so glad to be out of those clothes and that car seat. I don't blame him.

On Sunday we went to church. My grandma and grandpa didn't know that we were coming so we walked into sacrament meeting and surprised them. It was so fun to see their faces.

The rest of the days until Wednesday we just hung out while all the girls were in school. On Tuesday my mom, Jess, Braed, and I went shopping. MY mom decided to buy Braed a walker and he loved it. He is also trying to crawl. He is doing well and he is getting better at sitting up. He is a little wobbly still.

Wednesday we drove home on a scenic route. There is some beautiful country down in southern Colorado. So after a 25 hour drive we were so glad to be home and get some sleep. Although the last three hours of our trip Braeden cried and cried and cried. He wouldn't eat or sleep, so I just had to let him cry. That was really hard. He still isn't the same. He cries so hard every time he sees his car seat now. I also think that he is teething and that is not fun.

This was Braeden the last three hours non-stop on our trip home.

Wow, you came that close to me and didn't even stop to say hi! J/K
That's alot of hours in a car. But I'm sure it was worth it.
