4th of July
Saturday morning we got up and went to a Stake breakfast with a run and a program included. It was a great program. A man named Brother Sorenson talked on his experiences in the Air Force over 25 years. It really hit home because Ben is going into the Air Force. I cried a little bit and thought of what it would be like when Ben is gone. It is going to be hard, but the sacrifice must be made. After the breakfast Ben, Braeden and I came home and played Nintendo 64 and I had a little nap. Then we got up and played some more games. After that we got invited to go to a family in our ward's house for a BBQ. It was a blast. The Koyle's hosted us and the Steed's...another family in our ward were there. We had hot dogs and hamburgers with cookies and chips and corn on the cob with lots of other yummy things. There were lots of kid there and they all had fun as well. We tried to get them all in a picture together, but you will see in the pictures that it was kinda hard. After that we were going to go to the fireworks, but we drove by them and they were in the middle of Arvada next to a McDonalds and that was not our idea of fun. Besides that Braeden was having a rough night and Ben and I were tired so we just went home. We went to Ben at like 8:30. It was awesome! What a 4th of July! There were so many other things that we would have like to do, but Ben had three days off straight and we kind of just wanted to spend all of our time together as a family. Ben is really never home so we wanted to have a great weekend together...and it was :)
