Three Weeks

I am not going to say that I am not somewhat excited for exactly three weeks to pass. My Benny Boo Boo comes home exactly three weeks from today. I will be picking him up from the SLC airport right now. His flight gets in at 9:30. I am so excited to see my husband. It has been way too long, and I mean WAY too long. I just feel a little bit empty inside when he is gone. I know Braeden is getting excited too. He knows things are changing again! This time for the good. His daddy has scarred him from anyone leaving. Anytime anyone leaves our house Braeden cries. It is way say.
We also move to Mountain Home, ID in three weeks as well. I am excited to move and we have found an apartment...WITH A DISHWASHER. The rent is a little cheaper and that will be nice. We are saving for a house and something that we can make our OWN! That will be so fun! We have a lot of fun activities and dates planned. Our summer will just be starting. I am so happy that I will have my companion back and someone who knows me so well. I will be able to have personal conversations again. I have missed talking to someone who really really cares what I say and how I am feeling.
The downside of three weeks going by is leaving my family. I have gotten so close with them and so has Braeden. He has picked up things with them and loves the girls so much! He especially loves my sister Danielle. She is 10. He always reaches for her and he even calls her mama sometimes. They are going to miss him a lot and he is going to miss them too. They have all gotten used to seeing him once a day at least. It will be hard for them to drive by this house when we are gone. I am so grateful for all of the times that my family has taken Braeden and all of those late Tuesday nights that some of the girls were here putting Braeden to bed while I was in Biology class. I appreciate all of their examples and help, especially my mom and dad. They have loved being around this little boy. It has been fun to go on a walk somewhere and see my dad doing work at the cemetery or park and stopping to give him a Braeden love. It has also been great going to see my grandma and grandpa once in a while. They are getting older and it has be so nice to go and talk with them and let them see their great grandchild. They love him and love to get kisses from him.
There are a lot of changes coming our way, but for the good. I will be so glad to have my husband back and Braeden's best buddy. We are going to start a new chapter and it will be awesome.
