What a Sunday!! (not for people who get nauseous easily)

Yesterday was going to be a good day. Ben and were supposed to talk in sacrament meeting on agency and revelation.  We had our talks all done and felt really excited about giving them (for once). Our church starts at one so we like to have a nap about 10 and then get up and get ready for church.  Yesterday we were getting ready to have a nap when Ben noticed that I has blood on my garments.  I was shocked because I was not supposed to start my period for another 2 weeks.  I had my Mirena IUD removed Thursday and so there could be a number of things that could have been wrong.  So I cleaned everything up and we had a nap for about an hour.  When I woke up I noticed that I had bled through my garments, my shorts, and the sheets.  There was a LOT of blood.  It was bright red, which means it is new blood.  Ben was so worried so we got ready and went to the ER.  They took a long time, and Ben kept pacing back and forth.  We finally got admitted and into a room.  The doc on call said it could be a number of things so we did some tests.  They took some blood, did a pelvic exam, and some other things.  The doc told me that I could have been bleeding because of hormone changes from having the birth control removed.  The pregnancy test was negative and everything looked okay.  So she put me on some birth control until the bleeding stops and then a whole cycle of it so regulate the hormones. I guess that was great news for us.

It was so scary to see that much blood and think of a million and one reasons why that could be happening.  Poor Ben was scared out of his mind.  It was not such a great morning, but after we came home and got comfortable...we played some fun games, ate some food, and just relaxed and enjoyed being together.  I am so glad that everything is okay and that there is nothing seriously wrong.  I cannot just get bandaged up inside of me to stop bleeding.  So hopefully this solution works and everything will be okay soon.  Thank heavens for the ability to trust in our Heavenly Father for help and comfort.  Many prayers were said yesterday, the Bishop was concerned and the missionaries took over for our talks.  We are so appreciative of everyone who helped us yesterday.  We owe these missionaries some dinner :)  And I am even grateful for our neighbors who told us where the hospital was.  Thanks everyone!
