Busey Baby #2 is...a BOY
Monday we went to the doctor to see what our baby was. I was barely 18 weeks, but we I wanted to do the ultrasound early because Ben has been on TDY (temporary military assignment) this last week in Dallas, TX and I am leaving for Utah soon! I wanted to know what the baby was before we went. I was thinking it was a girl and I had bought some cute girl things. We went to the hospital and the ultrasound tech measured everything for the doctor (except the left leg and arm because this baby wouldn't move for him) and the baby had a heart rate of 147. After everything was measured the tech told me to walk around and see if the baby would move around. Well 15 minutes later, we went back into the exam room and the baby still hadn't moved the way the tech wanted. Finally he got the measurements he needed and asked if we had any names picked out for the baby. I told him we had a girl name and that I had a few girl things at home. He asked if I kept the receipts or if I knew anyone that was having a girl because I wasn't going to need them. Another boy...I was in shock. I don't know a lot of my friends that have 2 boys in a row or 2 boys at all. This was crazy to me, and Ben was in pure heaven. He kept saying...more fishing and hunting and swimming and camping. Oh boy, I am so in for it. I am not this strong to keep up with 3 boys. They give me grief and hard times...and make fun of me. Another boy added to the mix...it is going to be crazy. I am so happy that we are having another boy, and not sad at all. There are many things I am having a hard time thinking about (just the whole fact that another BOY is on the way). I am so grateful for my family and that I have my sweet Braeden to love and make me realize how much little boys can be fun, AND wild at the same time. It is going to be insanely crazy, but so fun at the same time. We are getting things ready and names picked out. This is the fun part when we can actually plan for what our baby will be. I am most excited for Braeden to have a little brother and best friend. Braeden gets so lonely with just his parents all the time, it will be good for him to have a pal and buddy. He keep saying things like, "Hi, baby brother", or "Yay for brothers", or he will touch my belly and say, "hi brother." It is so fun. I don't think he quite understands yet, but we look at videos and pictures every week of babies in bellies and he just eats it up. I say, "yay for brothers!" I am so excited to meet out sweet little guy!

It's the best believe me. So glad you're joining to two boys club. It's challenging, but it would be with a girl aswell. They have to learn to share with any sibling:)
We were the same way with Ammon! We were all sure he was going to be a girl... I had a hard time getting used to the idea he was a boy and there was even a part of me that right up until delivery wondered if he might come out a girl (even though the ultrasound pics were obvious boy). Lol! I'm so happy to have another boy though! I'm sure Kole and Ammon will be best buddies, and I'm sure your boys will be too! :) Congrats!
