Shoshone Falls and Twin Falls Family Fun Day

Yesterday was the 1st of 3 days off for Ben.  He took some leave this week, so we decided to hop in the car and drive to Twin Falls for some fun.  We saw the temple, (which Braeden loved and said was "so tall" and that Angel Moroni had a "horn") and we saw the Shoshone Falls.  It was such a beautiful waterfall and Braeden loved it.  After the falls we went to a little park to let Braed play.  It was about 80 degrees and he loved the slide.  This park had a little beach and an awesome place for kids to swim, but too bad we didn't know about that and didn't bring our swimming clothes.

After we let Braeden run shirtless through some sprinklers, we decided to hit the road into Twin Falls for a little shopping.  Braeden and I ran into Target while Ben had a little cat nap.  After Target we went to the mall to get some last minute pregnancy stuff for my suitcase.  I found some good deals and got everything that I needed, and then Ben went into Aeropstale where they were having a good (and I mean good) sale.  Almost everything was 90% off.  Ben got 7 shirts for $35.00.  He was happy about that because he thinks he is too fat for his other clothes.  I told him that as long as he felt comfortable in these new shirts I was willing to get them and let him be happy.

After we were done at the mall, Ben and I got a strawberry cheesecake blizzard at Dairy Queen.  Man, I wish I had another one right now. Those were so delicious.  Oh, and we got a LARGE fry with fry sauce to share.  It was so good.  I love their food.  Too bad I only have it once every 4 years.

When we got home, Ben and I put Braeden to bed and watched a movie called My Sassy Girlfriend. The title sounds ridiculously stupid, but it was a really good movie.  I even got a little teary-eyed (that could also be pregnancy hormones). We had a fun evening and we went to bed at 9 and slept pretty well.  It was such a fun day.
