Some of my favorite things...

These posts are always fun to do when you try new things and want to share them with other people.

So...here are some of my current favorite beauty products, etc.

First, I am tired of being white, like sickly winter white skin.  I don't want to die of skin cancer or even get that chance to or course I resort to fake tan.  I did my research and this is what I same up with:

This is Loreal Sublime Bronze in medium natural tan and it is under $9 at walmart in the tanning/sunscreen section.  A few tips...it is very powerful so you have to be careful with how you apply it.  I learned a few things...after you get in the shower and dry off, mix some of the tanning gelee with your regular lotion and it will soak in better.  When there is very little or if any mixture left in your hand, that is when you lightly graze your elbows, knees, and ankles.  This is great for all over body and the color is beautiful.  I LOVE this stuff.  You should give it a try, and it is cheap which makes it better.

Next,

Garnier Nutrisse Foam haircolor in dark brown. It is under $8.  I have really dark hair but with my hormones and the sun and everything it fades quite a bit.  So I decided to dye my hair close to it's natural color.  I wanted to give this haircolor a try and to be honest, it was because the box was fun. I have to tell you I was pleasantly surprised by this hair color. I really don't like coloring my hair because it drips and the smell is terrible, but with this is went on SUPER I mean SUPER easy and it stayed in my hair.  It was easy to rinse out and the smell wasn't that bad. I am going to stick with this from now on.

Next,

Bodycology's Fresh strawberry lipgloss...and it is coming in at $.97 at walmart.  It is hard to find because it is back in the travel section with the small soaps, and travel stuff.  (Know what I am talking about?)  This is the best stuff ever.  Not only does it last forever and it is cheap, but it is pretty on and it is really unexplainable.  It stays lightweight and it really moisturizes my lips.  I live in the desert of all deserts and this is wonderful stuff...plus it tastes good too! :)

Okay, I have a confession...I LOVE pretty bright fun packaging.  I am a designer's or marketers dream come true.  These companies know what they are doing to get business.  I loved this bright fun bottle.  I decided to take it home and try it because it was pretty.  This is Clean and Clear's fruit infusions.  They have a few different kinds, but I wanted to try the pomegranate kind. It is under $6 at Walmart.  I LOVE this stuff.  It is easy on, easy off and it smells GREAT.  I don't mind washing my face now.  It has really strawberry seeds in it to exfoliate your face and I just love it.

I have boys...and boys are gross when it comes to the bathroom.  I despise...not I can use the word HATE when it comes to cleaning the toilet.  I clean it and then next time I go in the bathroom it is completely gross again.  Well, I decided to give these a try.  I like trying new things and when these things aren't going to break the bank, I will do it.  This is a cleaning product by scrubbing bubbles.  They have a starter kit that is around $6 and then the refill soft cleaner things, for under $4 for 12 of them.  These smell absolutely heavenly and they make my bathroom at least smell cleaner.  This helps because the clean is constantly working and keeping things from sticking to the side of the toilet.  I like them a lot and I really HATE (sorry to use the word again, but we are still talking about toilets) the nasty toilet brush that you clean with and then put on the floor and let dry...talk about revolting.  This was a great option for me because you still have the wand, but it comes with disposable cleaner brushes and then it also comes with a hook for the wand. I will keep using this.

These are delicious. These are under $3 at walmart. We use these for snacks and tortillas with cheese and olives melted in the microwave. Braeden loves these because they aren't as spicy as regular pepperoni...and they are kid-sized. YUUMMY!!!!!

I love dark kiss anything from Bath and Body Works.  I don't think I will try any other lotion there ever again. There is a range of prices on these because there are perfumes, lotions, travel size stuff, etc.  If you watch on the site www.retailmenot.com, you can find a coupon and get a sweet
deal.

We moved our phones over to Virgin Mobile because we were both with our parents lines.  We wanted to be on our own and this was the cheapest and best way to go. We got rid of cable, got an antenna (we only watch a few shows on the actual tv and the rest of them we use an HDMI cable from the internet). We got these sweet new smartphones with unlimited internet and unlimited data use...which means internet wherever we go. These are awesome...best thing we have done in a long time.  We love our new phones and all of the cool new features...like text to talk or talk to type anything...pretty cool if you ask me.  I love it and so does Ben!  Oh and we only pay $45 a month each for all of that. Pretty sweet deal!

Last, but not least....

I LOVE our new bathroom.  We are moving to San Antonio this summer and so that means, selling our home.  I am really sad about selling our home, but it is going to be okay.  With selling our home we needed to make some improvements.  Minor improvements can make or break something.  So we decided to change the light fixture, get a new faucet and add a different mirror and it changed the entire look of the bathroom. I don't have a before picture, (I am terrible at remembering because I get so excited about the after) but I promise you that this is 50 times better.  It cost us only $50.00 because we already had the mirror in our house and it matched the lights perfectly .  It took Ben 20 minutes to put up and patch paint spots, but WOWEEE...it makes a HUGE difference. We have one bathroom in our house and it is small, so we had to do something to make it look good. I love it now and I think potential buyers will too!
