Potty Party

Last Sunday we were home from church because Emerson was sick. I was getting Braeden dressed when he came to me and said he wanted to wear big boy panties.  I hopped on that idea quickly. I just finished reading the book...Potty Train your kid in One Day. I was planning a huge potty party for him to have within the next few weeks and he just surprised me.  So that last few days he has been telling he has needed to go to the big potty and he has.  He has only had a few accidents and I am so happy about that.  He has had the runs a little bit so that makes it harder to train because I don't want him wearing undies to poop in. We have completely stopped using diapers for him and switched to pull ups for naps and bedtime.  It is great!  We are so excited.  The book I read has a ton of great tips in it that I have incorporated into our potty training.  I will be happy if I don't have to do the party itself. Once all is said and done...we will have a party for Braeden.  This is a HUGE accomplishment for anyone!
