Emerson Turns 1

   My baby boy...he is one. We had a great birthday for him! It was small, but I like small parties. It is less work for everyone involved. I made cupcakes for this cutie boy and they had little bug things on top of them. I think they turned out so cute. He got a little castle set and a little scout toy that sings him to sleep, and a towel and card from grandma and grandpa. I got him 6 balloons and tied them to his high chair and he loved them! They were the hit of the party.
   Emerson love, you are a joy in my life. The way you smile and show your teeth, and the way you copy people when they laugh is so sweet. I am trying to treasure these moments with you because they pass too quickly. You are already one and it blows my mind. I love you so much my chubby little Emer-Memmer....you are a blessing to our family. Keep growing strong and healthy.

Emerson:

-still takes 2-3 naps a day
-likes to sit with daddy when he gets home
