Rainy Day

All night last night I could hear the rain on the rooftop of our apartment and through the windows. We left all the windows open because it wasn't too hot and it was such a beautiful night. This morning when we woke up it was still raining. It was so beautiful outside and it was such a fall day. Ben and I watched a little TV and made some food then we had a little nap before church. It was such a good nap...one that was needed. We got up and got ready to go to church. It was fast Sunday so we listened to testimonies. Ben bore his testimony about responsibility and family. It was so good. I love to hear what he has to say...since he always has something. :)

Sacrament meeting was all I could take with the pain and the contractions so we went home. I had Ben give me a blessing for comfort and just to help out with the baby a little. It was a sweet blessing and I am so grateful to have the priesthood in our home. It means so much to have that power whenever I need it.

After that we had some lunch and made some peanut butter rice krispy treats. They are so good. A little too good. Then we wanted to go on a drive on this beautiful night so we went up Provo Canyon to a little park. Ben had his duck hunting boots on that I call his duck boots and he got in the river. I took pictures of him and he had so much fun. Then he started to freak me out about those Halloween movies I watched and making things up about dying people or seeing people and I wanted to leave. Not that I was scared or anything :) It was so fun to get out of the house and see the Provo River higher than I have ever seen it. It was amazing. Then I started to hurt and it was really time to go home. I will be so grateful when this baby is here and I can go somewhere for more than an hour. That will be nice. It will hopefully and prayfully happen this week!!!
