The Baby Blessing

Today was such a great day. I loved it. My family showed up at 10 this morning for the baby blessing even though my church starts at 1:30. They wanted to see the baby for a long time. My mom and 5 sisters gave Braeden a bath. He loved it and started to cry when he got out. My grandparents, and aunts and uncles showed up. It was fun. The fast and testimony meeting was so special. It was mostly about families. Our bishop gave his testimony about families and how they are the most important element of our gospel. Ben gave a great blessing. Everyone commented on how great it was to see the two families that were there. It was so special. They had all the visitors stand and there were so many. Ben gave his testimony and I had to get up to thank my family. I was so proud of my husband and my son. It really is true about what my bishop said. Family is the most important. They are the only things you can take with you when you die. I am so glad that I have a wonderful husband and that we are sealed to each other and our children for eternity. That is the greatest blessing. After sacrament meeting, all the family came to our little apartment and had some lunch and chatted. We laughed and just had a great time together.

I finally convinced Ben that we need to go down to my parents house for Christmas longer than two days. We are going to be there for almost a week. We are going to have so much fun. We need to do a lot of things before we move to Denver. Then my mom figured out that if we see each other every three months then we will all be okay. I think that will be a great plan.
