Smiles and Fun

Braeden is getting to be so much fun! His personality is starting to show. Some of that is not good though. He has a temper. He gives me a 5 second warning when he wants to be fed. Then is cries and cries and cries. On the opposite side of a temper, he is smiling more and more. I can talk to him and he will smile. Oh it is so much fun! I love taking pictures of him. He is just so fun and so cute.

This weekend my parents are coming up for their annual Christmas weekend. Although this year I doubt that there will be much Christmas shopping with this baby here. They are going to watch Braeden on Saturday while Ben and I go to Olive Garden. It will be wierd without the baby, but he is in good hands. After all my parents have 7 children of their own. They are so excited to watch him...all by themselves, my mom says.

It is getting closer to the move to Denver. I am packing a little here and there when I get a chance. It is really different not to be moving to a different apartment in Utah. It is just hard to think about because I get so emotional about it. I have never lived anywhere outside of Utah and all of my family and extended family live within 3 hours of us. So it will be hard, but we have figured a way out to meet each other about every three months. That makes it a little bit easier, but not much.

Last night Leo and Whitney Winegar, a couple from our ward who are really good friends came over for steak dinner and to watch August Rush. It was really fun. We used to live about them before we moved to the apartment that we are in now. We bonded with them from the time that we moved there over a year ago, and we have been tight ever since then. It is going to be hard to leave them. They are such good uplifting examples. Hopefully they can come visit us, and we can come back and visit them. And the whole blogging thing will make it a little easier to keep in touch with them. Thanks Winegar's for being such great friends to us. We love you guys.

I understand the move makes you sad, but it's good for you guys and your marriage too. You only have each other to rely on, so I think in a way, it's a good thing (for awhile). And it's only a few years, then you can live closer in Utah again! :) Love and miss ya Steph

CUTE! Dontcha just LOVE taking pictures of your baby? It's the funnest. Yeah, moving away from family is hard. Over the summer we lived in Tennessee. And it was so weird living in a different state and not having family around. But it was also so much fun to be away from family (I know that sounds bad) It was so fun to just be with my husband and baby and discover the new place with only them. But I'm weird like that. You just grow really close to eachother. Denver isn't too far at least. And hey at least you'll still have the mountains! Good luck with everything! And your baby is a cutie!
