Ultrasound Appointment

Today I had an appointment to have my first ultrasound. All morning I asked Braeden if he wanted to see the baby and he would scream "Yeah."  It was so cute.  My appointment was at 11 so Ben, Braeden and I headed to base.  When we got into the exam room, I changed and waited for the doc.  I knew the doc I was meeting with because I picked the ultrasound with him, he works with Ben, and he took care of me after my miscarriage. I got a full body exam and then it was time for the ultrasound.  Braeden was so excited.  The doc was trying to get the babies heart rate, but the doc said , "This kid is so wiggly."  It was just so exciting and cute for some reason.  It made me smile.  The doc took some measurements and Braeden was just fixated on the baby.  Finally, the doc turned the screen to me to see the baby and it was so special.  I got teary-eyed when I saw this sweet little baby with it's tiny little body, fingers, and toes. It was moving around like crazy.  We got some good pictures to take home.  I will post them.  Every time Braeden sees the pictures, he says,"ah,baby," so softly. It is just too adorable.  I love seeing him like that. I think Ben was a little excited to see that there is actually a baby in there.  What a great day!!!  I love that I was able to see my baby and that it is doing okay. It is such a relief to know that this baby is doing well and growing.  Only 8 more weeks until we can find out what the baby is.  YAY!!!!
